The Laman Library, North Little Rock, AR
The William F. Laman Public Library is the system’s primary branch building. Opened in 1962, the building was named in honor of former North Little Rock mayor William F. “Casey” Laman. Today, it houses a range of services, including dedicated spaces for children and teens, a computer lab, art gallery, makerspace, passport office, free public notary, and more.

Children's Library
The Children’s Section offers a bright, welcoming space filled with books, games, and activities designed to inspire young minds and foster a love of reading.
The Loft
The Loft is a space exclusively for teens, offering a variety of after-school activities designed to inspire creativity and foster connection.
Makerspace
The Makerspace offers sewing, embroidery, cutting, and crafting machines alongside hands-on programs like knitting, quilting, and crochet to sharpen your skills.
Tech Hub
The Tech Hub is equipped with computers, game consoles, laminators, and printers—including a large-format printer—to support your creative projects and digital needs.
Genealogy Room
The Genealogy Room provides access to archival materials and a microfilm machine, offering resources to support in-depth research.
Spaces are available to rent for your next event.
Small private study rooms are also available for one to two people. No reservation required.
