Hispanic Heritage Month runs September 15 through October 15, and NLRPLS is celebrating all month long with free programs for every age. The centerpiece is Saturday, September 26, when Laman hosts a health fair with live music and folklórico dance in the morning and a live lucha libre wrestling match with Natural State Rasslin' that evening. Plus, tweens can grab a Hispanic Heritage Activity Pack, teens can dive into lucha libre history, papel picado art, and music trivia, and kids and tweens close out the month with a scavenger hunt. Every program is free and open to the public.
Library Card Sign-Up Month is getting a star-studded upgrade. Starting September 1, NLRPLS is offering a free limited-edition library card made in partnership with 2X GRAMMY Award-winning artist and New York Times bestselling author Laufey and her global Laufey Book Club, a reading community of more than 350,000 people. The card is available to new and existing cardholders at Laman Library, Argenta Library, and the Rover while supplies last.

Cheer on live matches and revel in feats of strength and power. Free and open to all ages, with donations to the library accepted at the door and concessions available.
