Mobile Library Branch Manager
Do you have a passion for taking library services and events out into the community? The North Little Rock Public Library System is launching a mobile branch and seeking a hardworking self-starter to lead our Outreach team as the Mobile Library Branch Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all branch operations, building relationships and partnerships to promote and provide services, developing educational and fun opportunities for all ages, and serving on the library's management team. The successful candidate must possess a Chauffeur's License and a Master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited library school and at least ten years of related experience OR a Bachelor's degree and at least fifteen years of related experience OR any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. Outreach Services Associate
The North Little Rock Public Library System is seeking an energetic and collaborative Outreach Librarian to provide direct customer service to patrons on the Mobile Library. As an Outreach Services Associate, you will build relationships with community members and partner organizations to promote library services. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with MLS preferred, strong customer service skills, experience working with children, Spanish fluency preferred, and possess or attain a Chauffeur’s License. An appreciation of books and movies for enthusiastic Reader’s Advisory and considerable ability to navigate online and use computers, e-reader devices, smartphones, and tablets would be valuable.
